Operating Action & Accountability Tracker
Decisions only matter if someone owns what happens next.
Capture actions, assign ownership, track due dates, surface overdue or blocked items, and identify recurring issues that should stop being treated as one-off problems.

Add an operating action above or change the filters. The tracker is most useful when commitments are entered as soon as they are made.
Turn commitments into follow-through
Assign one owner and a due date. Verify the result before marking an action complete.
How to use this trackerRecurring issues, reviews and leadership guidance⌄
How to use recurring
Mark an issue as recurring when the same condition has appeared more than once. Repeated problems should trigger a root-cause discussion. If the same action keeps returning to the tracker, the operating system probably needs to change.
Results summary
Turn commitments into a visible operating rhythm.
The tracker shows what is open, overdue, blocked, recurring, and complete. Use it to verify ownership and follow-through, not simply to record activity.
Guidance for your role
Leadership lens
MIT / Supervisor
What this level sees: What must be completed during this shift, who owns it, and what needs immediate help?
Recommended action: Confirm the owner and due point before the shift closes; escalate blockers you cannot remove.
Department Head
What this level sees: Which actions are slipping repeatedly within the department, and what process or coaching gap is causing it?
Recommended action: Remove cross-shift friction, reset unclear standards, and verify completion in the next operating review.
AGM / GM
What this level sees: Where are blocked or overdue commitments creating property-wide risk, guest impact, or missed financial performance?
Recommended action: Resolve competing priorities, assign resources, and hold department leaders to a documented recovery date.
Director / VP / COO
What this level sees: Which recurring issues signal a structural weakness across locations, leadership capacity, or the operating model?
Recommended action: Separate local execution misses from system defects, then change standards, resources, or accountability across the portfolio.
The accountability test
1
Specific
The action is clear enough that two people would interpret it the same way.
2
Owned
One person is accountable. A department or 'team' is not an owner.
3
Dated
There is a real due date or follow-up point.
4
Closed
Completion means the result was verified, not merely that someone said it was done.
